There were published article in Journal named Lääkärilehti in 15.9.2023 that tells about the most extensive antidepressant study that was funded by National Institute of Mental Health and it's shortcomings. In the article psychologist Ed Pigott was astonishing the results of the study. He had used the same terminal variable in his own study.

When Pigott and his collegues went through that study and it's methods they found out that the study was counting as recovered people who met the criteria even before starting the antidepressant treatment. In the study there were also other weaknesses because of that the amount of recovered patients was shown much more than in reality.  The article tells that the results of this study were published in American Journal of Psychiatry and New England Journal Medicine. Because of that the results also presumably got a lot of observations.
